GloryBee’s Bakers Light Amber (BLA) honey is a blend of select honey from around the globe. Each of these different types of honey are produced on a seasonal basis depending on the floral source and region it is collected from so the blend may vary from batch to batch. BLA is primarily used by food manufacturers due to the fact that it has a stronger flavor profile and is darker in color than classic clover honey. This stronger flavor and darker color complements other ingredients such as flour and grains very well, making it ideal for baking.

The product shelf life is depending on storage conditions and is highly variable. Bakers light amber honey should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity-controlled environment. The industry standard for shelf life, when stored under optimum conditions, is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
Honey may take on a semi-solid crystallized state due to its high sugar content. The rate honey crystallizes depends upon the floral source, moisture level, and storage conditions. Crystallization does not affect the quality of honey and is not an indicator of shelf life. Gentle warming will return the honey to a more liquid state. GloryBee guarantees the when properly stored, our honey will remain in a liquid state 90 days from the date of production.
