Grain Miller's conventional Coarse Oat Bran comes from the outermost bran or edible covering of the oat. Rich in B vitamins and antioxidants, oat bran is also an impressive source of soluble fiber (beta glucans) along with other phytochemicals such as avenanthramides. As a breakfast cereal, it only takes two minutes to cook in boiling water, but oat bran can be used in many applications to provide flavor, texture, and nutrition in products ranging from breads to beverages. This is Grain Miller's largest particle size of oat bran, it is most suitable in the formulation of a variety of breads, muffins, and cereal products.

Product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. Products should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity controlled environment, preferably in a refrigerator. Industry standard for product, when stored under optimum conditions, is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
