GloryBee is keenly aware that April is a critical month for beekeepers! At this time we are making plans to host bee package pick up on April 21 and 22 in a drive thru fashion. Our on-site classes will be offered in video-format online, and those wanting more detailed instruction can sign up for classes with the LCBA. If you have ordered bees from us, you will be receiving more details via email soon. We will not be holding any additional public activities on April 21 and 22.

When is Bee Weekend 2023?

The LCBA is offering classes for beginning beekeepers. You can sign up for either date.

LCBA Class Date 1: Saturday, February 4th - 9:30am - 1:00pm $50/person
LCBA Class Date 2: Saturday, March 4th - 9:30am - 1:00pm $50/person

The following videos are a must-see for new beekeepers and go over the basics on successfully hiving your bees. Be sure to watch prior to picking up your bees!

Bee packages not picked up by 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, will be considered abandoned and will be sold to someone waiting on site. GloryBee cannot facilitate hiving any remaining packages and will sell hives to customers on our waiting list. We must sell all packaged bees before the end of the event on Saturday, April 22. We do not offer refunds for any bees not picked up. GloryBee cannot facilitate hiving any remaining packages and will sell packages to customers on our waiting list.

Cancellation Policy: Customers need to speak with a salesperson to request a refund. Refunds will not be authorized via email or through voicemail. All pre-ordered packaged bees must be picked up by 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 or they will be considered abandoned and sold to someone waiting on site. No Refunds after April 17, 2023.
