Bee Pollen is sometimes referred to as Nature’s Perfect Food because it contains essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids (proteins), enzymes, and fatty acids that the human body needs. Scientists have reported that bee pollen has more protein per serving than beef.

Our high-quality bee pollen is carefully collected only at certain times of the year to allow the bees plenty of time to store their own supply for food. Bee pollen is the male seeds of flowers collected on the legs of honeybees and formed into granules.

A pollen trap placed at the hive entrance gently brushes the pollen off the bees’ legs as they enter the hive. The pollen then falls into a collection bin. Finally, the beekeeper cleans and dries the pollen at low temperatures, which preserves its potency.

The pollen is then ground into a powder and placed in a vegetable-based gelatin capsule (Hypromellose).  Each capsule contains 500 mg of domestic bee pollen.
