The National Honey Board is a federal research and promotion board under USDA oversight that conducts research, marketing and promotion programs to help maintain and expand markets for honey and honey products. The National Honey Board is not a regulatory agency nor does it have powers of enforcement. The ten member board, appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, represents producers (beekeepers), packers, importers, and a marketing cooperative.
The National Honey Board condemns any practice that jeopardizes the purity of honey or the reputation of the honey industry. We fully support the efforts of our government agencies to find and put a stop to such illegal and unethical behavior. The National Honey Board encourages the honey industry to work proactively with government regulators and agencies to ensure product safety.

Edurelief was founded in 2006 in response to an issue that is affecting thousands of Mongolian children and their families. Due to economic decline in the country, a lack of funding in the education system is forcing families to either purchase textbooks required for their children’s education or have their children drop out of school. Because of low wages and high unemployment rates, the cost of these textbooks, often the equivalent of a month’s salary per child, is simply out of reach for many families. edurelief works with local school systems across Mongolia to provide these textbooks to the neediest families ensuring that every child receives their right to education and a brighter future.

The Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides (NCAP) works to protect community and environmental health and inspire the use of ecologically sound solutions to reduce the use of pesticides.
For 32 years, NCAP has combined community outreach, education, advocacy and organizing to protect the health of people and the environment by advancing alternatives to pesticides. Rural residents and reforestation workers concerned about herbicide spraying in Northwest forests formed the group in 1977.
NCAP has a variety of programs benefiting rural and urban communities throughout the Northwest. NCAP is urging better protections to keep pesticides out of water; establishing safe, pesticide-free places for kids to live, learn and play; strengthening sustainable agriculture and rural economies; and educating people about using alternatives to pesticides in and around their homes.
Provender Alliance, which began in 1977, is a non-profit membership organization providing networking, outreach, and education to natural foods and related companies doing business in the Northwest. The word "provender" means provisions or foodstuffs. Part of the reason the industry is so strong in the Northwest is due to efforts of Provender Alliance members and the annual Provender conference.

Founded in 1918, the Retail Bakers of America (RBA), a 501c6 not-for-profit trade association is committed to the success of the retail baking industry. We are a baker’s business partner connecting buyers and sellers to build profitable bakeries. Together with our members, we create industry-specific training programs and develop small business programs. We foster the community of retail bakeries providing a forum for exchange of industry and business information, as well as networking, learning opportunities and mentoring among bakers, future and existing.
