Raw sunflower seed kernels hulled from the whole sunflower seed are a popular ingredient for seed and grain breads as well as for other baking and making sunflower seed butter. Sunflower seeds are a good source of protein, dietary fiber, B Vitamins, and Vitamin E. They also contain high levels of dietary minerals, including magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, iron and zinc. These hybrid confection sunflower seeds are pasteurized using dry, saturated steam treatment.

Product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. Products should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity controlled environment. Industry standard for product, when stored under optimum conditions, is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
