Description

These delicious apple juice sweetened whole dried cranberries are produced by infusing sweetener from apple and apple juice concentrate into superior grade cranberries that come from the sound, mature berries of the commonly cultivated cranberry plant Vaccinium macrocarpon. They are infused with the juice until they reach just the right sweetness and then dried to just the right moisture to make perfectly sweet, tart and soft, chewy dried cranberries. Once they are dried, they are lightly sprayed with sunflower oil to keep them from clumping together. They are most commonly used as an ingredient in baked goods such as bars, bread, muffins and cookies.
