Originating from South America, peanuts are now widely used as an ingredient all over the world in both savory and sweet dishes.  They are well known as an ingredient for making spicy sauces such as satay, as well as for using as an ingredient in candy, cakes and cookies.  Our dry roasted and unsalted split peanuts are of the runner variety grown in the USA.  With a satisfying crunch and fresh roasted flavor, they are a great ingredient for blending into a trail mix, adding as an ingredient to cereals and bars or enjoyed by the handful all on their own.   They are also commonly used in peanut butter grinders in the bulk sections of grocery stores.
