Getting your children excited about beekeeping is a wonderful opportunity to engage in an activity the whole family can enjoy. It is also a great way to create an interest in a hobby that can be passed along to the next generation.

We have found that some kids are hesitant about getting near honeybees let alone working inside a hive.  Stings are far and away the number one fear. To help alleviate some of this concern, your young beekeeper can feel safe we with our heavy-duty youth bee suit.

Made from a cotton polyester blend, these comfortable youth suits feature a zipper-front with an easy-to-use detachable round mesh veil. The elastic bands around the wrist allow for maximum protection for small hands. In addition each suit has thumb straps attached to the wrists which keep the sleeves from creeping up under gloves.

Two convenient chest pockets are located on the front and there are also two waist pockets on the right and left sides which allow for your kids to store their tools while working with the bees. The elasticized ankles have zippers on the inside which allows for ease of putting on and taking off. An extra bonus with our youth bee suits is that they have double Velcro enclosures which provides even more protection from bees trying to crawl inside.

All of our youth bee suits come with round veils. These veils keep wiring away from their face even when kneeling and bending, and offer a wider range of view.
