Made from pure cane sugar, this medium golden brown sugar is refined without any added colorings, flavorings or coatings. It is produced using the traditional method of sugar crystallization and retains a significant amount of molasses making it moist with a nutty, caramel-like flavor. It is ideal for making cookies, cakes, brownies and crumble toppings. In quick breads, cookies and some types of cakes (such as spice cake), brown sugar can be substituted cup for cup for granulated white sugar. Use it in any recipe where you'd like a hint of the caramel flavor of molasses.

Product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. Product should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity controlled environment. Industry standard for product, when stored under optimum conditions, is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
