Our large flake nutritional yeast is a vegetarian dietary supplement with a pleasant cheesy and slightly nutty flavor. It is rich in vitamin B12 and provides 8 grams of protein per serving. It is made from a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Large flake nutritional yeast is commonly added to sauces, scrambles, crackers and biscuits or sprinkled on vegetables, baked potatoes and popcorn.
Ingredients: Dried yeast, niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin, folic acid, cyanocobalamin (B12 produced by natural fermentation – not synthetic or animal source).
Moisture: ≤ 6.0%
Thiamin (B1): 540-720 ppm
Riboflavin (B2): 540-720 ppm
Niacin (B3): 2800-4200 ppm
Pyridoxine (B6): 500-900 ppm
Folic Acid (B9): 10-40 ppm
Cyanocobalamin (B12): 0.5-2.5 ppm
Product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. It should be stored under cool, dry conditions in a humidity-controlled environment. Industry-standard for the shelf life of the product, when stored under optimum conditions, is 24 months from date of manufacture.
