Description

These roasted and slightly salted pumpkin seeds which are a nutrient-rich snack and perfect in salads and trail mixes. Also known as pepitas (meaning "little seed of squash" in Spanish), they consist of 2% water, 49% fat, 15% carbohydrates and 30% protein. They are also a rich source of dietary fiber, niacin, iron, zinc, manganese, magnesium and phosphorous.

The shelf life of these sunflower seeds is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. They should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity controlled environment. The industry standard for shelf life, when stored under optimum conditions, is 6 months from the date of manufacture.
