Our medium diced dry roasted almonds are grown and processed in California. With their slightly sweet, nutty flavor and crunchy texture, diced almonds are most commonly used as a topping for dairy items and baked goods, as a coating for ice cream bars, as a filling for bakery and confectionery items and as a crust for meats and seafood.
Because they are packed with nutrition, almonds are the most popular of all the different types of tree nuts. High in protein (6 grams per ounce) and fiber (4 grams per ounce), they are also an excellent source of other vitamins and minerals including calcium, magnesium and potassium. Two decades of research has shown that almonds can help maintain a healthy heart and weight. Since ancient times, almonds have been prized throughout the world for their delicious taste and crunchy texture. Today, they are most widely grown in California which produces about 80% of the global almond supply, exporting to nearly 90 countries.
