Vitamin E can be found in a variety of different forms. Ours is a blend of different forms of vitamin E mixed with sunflower oil. Known to provide anti-oxidant properties for soaps and body care products, it is a clear, brownish-red viscous oil with mild taste and odor. It is also said to help prevent skin wrinkles and scarring from wounds, cuts and scrapes. Our vitamin e oil is derived from non-GMO soy beans and has an IU (International Unit) value of greater than or equal to 1,100 per gram.

Suggested Use

Mix vitamin E oil in with your fixed and/or carrier oils to help slow the oxidization process and to prolong the shelf life. It can also be used in your lotions, creams, salves, lip balms and body butters as an anti-oxidant. The amount to use depends on the product you are making and your recipe.

Shelf Life and Storage

Product shelf life is dependent on storage conditions and is highly variable. Products should be stored under cool, dry conditions and in a humidity-controlled environment. Industry standard for product, when stored under optimum conditions, is 36 months from the date of manufacture.
